Jason Hutchinson, the president of “Hutchinson Construction LLC,” has been in business for over 20 years. He has been doing quality work in the Boston area for eight of those years specializing in remodeling, renovations and repairs. He has developed a quality crew who take pride in their work. During his time in Boston, he has seen a great need for the young people of our communities to receive life skills and job training. It is difficult for many young people, for whatever reason, to enter the work force and become productive citizens. “Hutchinson Construction LLC” gives them the grace and discipline they need to move forward with their lives. While we show them grace by accepting them where they are at, we also hold them accountable to produce quality work, show up on time, be respectful and hold the client in the highest regard.

Our motto is “Building Boston’s Homes, Communities and Families.” Our communities are made up of more than just buildings. More importantly, it is the families who occupy them. And our young people are the building blocks of our families.
Jason Hutchinson
Son of a carpenter, I have been in the business for 24 years. My wife, Allison and I and our three sons have lived in the Hyde Square area of Jamaica Plain, Boston for 7 years. I am originally from Maine and have lived in many different states and countries, including 11 years in Dallas and one year in the Ukraine. I have attended graduate school for ministry and look forward to devoting some of my time in that area. I enjoy watching “Breaking Bad”, “Law and Order” and listening to NPR. Over the years, I have developed the technique of doing quality work in an efficient manner. This helps keep the cost reasonable for our clients. I strive to be easy to work with. I am open to suggestions and learn a lot from my clients. I have a Construction Supervisor’s License in Massachusetts permitting me to perform residential and commercial construction. We recently completed a significant commercial project at River of Life Church in Jamaica Plain. Our residential experience gave that project a “homey” feel.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide quality remodeling and repairs to our clients at a reasonable cost. We understand that most of us are living on a budget. We take pride in communicating with clients and if a quality repair is an option (vs. replacement), we will provide that information.
Our Distinctions
Client Centered. Our clients are more important than the size of the project. We want to help our clients with whatever they need done, however large or small. “Big enough for the big jobs . . . humble enough for the small jobs.”
Honest. I give a quote and stick to it. I try very hard not to get over booked. I would rather be honest about my availability than have an upset client because I’ve overcommitted. On the other hand, I encourage clients to plan ahead and be loyal to me. That enables me to grow consistently and be loyal to my customers.
Local. I live in the Hyde Square area of JP with my wife, Allison, and 2 sons, Nathan and Noah. My focus area is JP, Brookline, West Roxbury, Roxbury, Roslindale, Brighton, Newton, Needham and Dorchester. I find that focusing on a specific area is more cost affective which I pass on to my clients. I also enjoy being an integral part of the community in which I live.
